SeaRock is wave-washed granite cliffs, wind-swept monterey cypress & pine, an historic granite home growing out of granite cliffs amidst trees, a few acres along the rugged Pacific Ocean coastline.
Built in the early 20th century by a renowned architect Charles Greene, the home remains a monument to an era of craftsmanship and lifestyle gone by.
Listen to the tide until pace and breath slows to match rhythm. Witness creation vibrating and realign with it.
Here I lived from Oct. 2006 through Oct. 2013 as steward and manager.
Today's harvest of fresh berries. We had some heavy cream in the fridge that was threatening to go bad, so, after whipping it, we took care of both this evening.
I'm glad he mentioned the cream, because it only makes the whole event more glorious, the strawberries being adorned appreciatively. It also reminds me of M.F.K. Fisher, who would make a meal of such a combo and call it dinner -- that is, IF it was "good cream." She was always saying about various solo ingredients, "If you just add some good wine..." or good butter, or good bread, this whatever-it-was would make a simply wonderful meal. I thought I might write a blog about that someday but I've probably already said everything just now.

Fantastick photo...and the berries were great, but did you have to blab about the heavy cream?
