About SeaRock
SeaRock is difficult to describe: wave-washed granite cliffs, wind-swept monterey cypress & pine trees, an historic granite home growing out of those granite cliffs amidst those trees, a few acres along the rugged Pacific Ocean coastline. Built in the early 20th century, this home stands as a monument to an era of craftsmanship and lifestyle gone by.
Today it represents a place of rest and refuge, where there is time for guests, and sometimes we ourselves, to listen to the tide until one's pace and even one's breath slows to match its rhythm. A place to witness the creation and experience re-creation.
This blog is a document intended to share both the signature beauty of SeaRock, and some of the daily tasks that are part of caring for it's legacy. Remember to enlarge many of the photos for a closer look by clicking on them. Your comments are very welcome. Thank you for visiting.
